Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz born on January 10, 1993 is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. He is often referred to as the "King Of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3He is part of the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. His first studio album, Afrodisiaco was released in November 2020. Vice Versa was his follow-up studio album. The first single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been won by him from 12 nominations. Raul Alejandro Olasio Ruiz was conceived in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on the 10th of January, 1993. His family was raised in Carolina and Canovanas. [4][5] His father guitar player Raul Ocasio and his mother, backing vocalist Maria Nelly Ruiz, introduced him to his musical influences like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown. Alejandro and his dad lived for a long time in the United States. They mainly resided in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel A.A., a fellow Puerto Rican rapper are childhood close friends. They went to the same school together and shared classes. 9/10/10 Alejandro was part of school show as a youngster because he is a dancer. After graduating from high school, Alejandro attended the University of Puerto Rico. He was a soccer player from the age of six to 25. However, he decided to stop playing because he didn't perform at the level he imagined. When he was 20, his injury was a major one. Then he moved to Orlando to try and be sought out by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro's style of music is Latin R&B and reggaeton. He also enjoys songs that are rhythmic and ballads. Billboard said that his music "set his music apart" from the growing number of Reggaetoneros with a pop-leaning. Presley and Jackson were influential early on. He was also influenced later on by Ricky Martin and Daddy Yankee. [24] He also cites Ciara as an influencer in music.
