Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa is the former leading singer for The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings with the Swedish Metal band melodic Death Arch Enemy. Alissa (born on July 31,, 1985) White-Gluz is an Canadian vocalist, recognized as the former leader singer and the founding member of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore group The Agonist and her current role as the lead singer in Swedish melodic Death Metal band Arch Enemy. Both growling vocals and singing (clean vocals) is a characteristic of her unique vocal style. Though she's mostly associated with melodic metalcore and death metal, she has appeared as a guest vocalist for power metal, symphonic music and deathcore bands, notably Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf as well as performed live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz sang with the band Agonist who was previously known as "Tempest" which was located in Montreal (Quebec), Canada in 2004 until 2014. They released three albums together with The Agonist as the lead vocalist.White-Gluz quit the Agonist during the spring of 2014 after being offered the vocalist position for Arch Enemy.
