Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up within Orange County. She received her break into acting in the year 2015. In the same year, she graduated from University of California San Diego. Following a few appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas was offered the role as Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. It was her turn to play Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she left the soap opera. The model, who is fluent in four languages, has appeared since on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also was on the show Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was in a relationship with Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. This relationship began in May 2020 after Pernas split up with her wife Chrishell Stause. Pernas Hartley tied the knot in secret with Pernas in May 2021.
