Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She came to California when she was five. She was raised mainly in Orange County. She earned her degree in the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the same year she got her breakthrough in acting. Pernas appeared in minor roles on NCIS and Leverage, but she landed the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. She landed the role Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she was let go of the soap. The four-language model has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from the year 2019 to 2020 she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed that Pernas and Justin Hartley were dating in May of 2020. The actress from This Is Us Pernas started dating Justin Hartley after her split from Chrishell Stause who was married to since November of 2019. Pernas Hartley was recently married in a secret wedding ceremony according to reports from May 2020.
