Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English descendant is also her mother. Her mother has Spanish as well as English roots. She was the first born of a household with six kids. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. When she was 16 she left school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
